I spoke too soon on my last entry - I went into labor the very next day!
My daughter was born on December 17th at 9 o'clock at night, after a very long 2-day labor. Everything went smoothly, and she weighed 3416 grams when she was born.
She is so cute! I can't get enough of her. She has a full head of hair and is just so pretty. She already smiles a lot. She is one week old today.
In Japan, they keep new mothers in the hospital for about 6 days, so we only just got home yesterday. Everyone is so pleased to have her here, especially Daddy!
It is Christmas Eve over here. I could not have asked for a better Christmas present!!

I'm back again... it's been forever!
Little Hiatus
I am taking a little hiatus until the new year because I am in the middle of moving. Also, Christmas. (I really want to like Christmas but since I have been in Japan I have just hated it! I'm a grinch) So both comic projects are also on break (although I will be drawing them as much as possible - finally I got some buffer!) I just have absolutely no time to get on the laptop. I am, however, quite able to use my tablet, so I can check my e-mail/twitter all the live long day. But somehow I find viewing DA to be difficult on it... I think I read some news somewhere that there is an app for it, I'll have to look that up.

Whoops guys! I have been MIA for a while!
I've been drawing a lot, though - but mostly sequential art. I haven't had time/ideas for watercolors because I have been working so hard on my other projects!
I have also drawn some ink pictures that I will scan and put up. But... my computer crashed and I had to do a registry clean-up on it, meaning all of the programs have been wiped off of it! So I have to reinstall Photoshop, scanner drivers, etc. It is a pain in the butt. Also, my baby attacks the laptop whenever she is awake, so I am restricted to doing all of this when she is sleeping.
I've also been down in the dumps this month. I h
Aquarium and Anpanman Museum
This week I took my baby to the aquarium in Osaka with the husband, and to the Anpanman museum in Kobe as well. It was fun! The Anpanman museum is more like an amusement park, I don't really know why they call it a museum. My baby can't walk yet (she's about to hit 8 months) so I am pretty sure me and my husband had more fun than she did, but she seemed to like it nevertheless.
